The Pioneer Valley Interscholastic Athletic Conference (PVIAC) was founded in 1980 and is the largest secondary school athletic league in the state of Massachusetts. The conference is made up of 62 high schools located in the western part of the state consisting of Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin and Berkshire counties. All schools are members of the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association, which is the governing body of athletics in the state. The PVIAC provides leadership and support for the conduct of interscholastic athletics, which will enrich the educational experiences of student athletes.
